The garden gave up its first goods a couple of days ago, and now good reader, standby as I dazzle and amaze my family members with words....The squash was delicious! It is absolutely true (Mom) our tastebuds actually do change as we get older. The dry-heaving ten year old version of me at the dinner table next to a kitchen timer ticking down to a swift paddling, would never have believed that I would one day willingly consume the "Devil's Vegetable."
